Senior Product Specialist

CIPPlanner Corporation is the leading provider of Capital Program Management (CPM) Software Solutions for government agencies and major private organizations. We are seeking a talented individual for the position of Capital Program Management Consultant who will serve as a functional domain expert in capital programs and projects management. Duties of this position include:

* Serve as a functional lead or software implementation manager to implement the company’s flagship CIPAce™ Software application suite
* Serve as a management consultant to conduct extensive CIP management process review and suggest improvement recommendations to customers
* Serve as a business process analyst in the software project implementation team
* Provide functional expertise in defining product strategy and reviewing software requirement specifications
* Identify new opportunities and team with sales to up-sell existing products or provide add-on management consulting services to customers
* Offer sales engineering support, such as product demonstration and follow-on business process discussions, to sales organizations on new sales opportunities
* Provide enhancement inputs to product development to continually improve the software

Desired skills and experience of this position would include:

* Hands-on experience in developing and managing capital improvement programs, plans or budgets within a government agency or major corporation
* Knowledge of project, program and portfolio management, planning, budgeting, accounting and business processes
* Superior communication skills, both written and oral
* Demonstrated ability to discuss, understand and document customers’ business processes and needs
* Ability to understand and manage customer expectation and software implementation methodology
* A quick learner and hard working
* Working knowledge of sophisticated business applications and relational databases
* Knowledge of the Public Sector highly desired

Senior Product Specialist Responsibilities of the position include:

1. Become an expert user of CIPAce™ and CIPAccess™ provide product support to customers and sales
2. Participate in formulating product marketing strategy and develop and enhance marketing literature
3. Assist sales with meeting potential customers
4. Provide knowledge of the CIP development and management process
5. Guide Product Development Team to enhance user experience of the application
   
   

Qualifications:

1. Hands-on experience in developing and managing CIP plans for more than one budgeting cycle within a government agency
2. Be a people person and enjoy working in a small office environment
3. Knowledgeable with relational database concept
4. Prior marketing and sales experience highly desirable
5. Willing to take initiative to achieve business objective
6. Good analytical, communication and writing skills
