CIPPlanner Corporation Releases CIPAce™ Version 6.2
Santa Clara, California – April 6, 2010 - CIPPlanner Corporation, the leading provider of Capital Program Management (CPM) software solutions to Public Sector agencies announced the release of CIPAce™ Version 6.2
Based on continuous feedback of the needs and wants from existing CIPAce™ application users, CIPPlanner has released its latest software version. CIPAce™ 6.2 will provide customers with the tools they require to improve the planning and management of their infrastructure. This latest release of CIPAce™ has accomplished two major goals: it is more customizable and more intuitive right out of the box.
The architecture of CIPAce™ has been enhanced to make it an even more configurable application by allowing users to dynamically modify many of the screens that will be more tightly configured to their current business processes. A key example of this major enhancement is the customizable User Portal. When a user signs onto the system, they are presented with a personalized informative dashboard to quickly notify them of any pending actions, status updates and performance charts. This new feature will be provided to all existing installations and is standard to all new offerings.
Other major product improvements include:
- Expansion of Construction Management features to cover numerous construction management processes and forms;;
- Expansion of the Contract Management module to enhance contract workflows and footprints;
- Enhanced Vendor Management to support small and minority business compliance;
- Major improvements to the Workflow Engine, Web APIs, Project Scoping and Project Ranking capabilities;
- Major enhancements to Custom Reports and Analytics Reporting to access any data elements in the system via the web;
- Improved Help functionalities with better searching and navigation;
- Addition of an ARRA Compliance Reporting module.
CIPAce™ 6.2 is more intuitive and includes over five-hundred (500) improvements throughout the application. These enhancements are geared to better align the functions of CIPAce™ to how our customers actually do their work. Virtually every aspect of CIPAce™ 6.2 has been touched to improve ease of use and to provide deeper levels of detail and quicker response to information. Given the financial state of emergency in the public sector today, more transparency with improved details are required to better manage Capital budgets and infrastructure. CIPAce™ 6.2 provides this level of management and provides users with tighter control of project execution.
