Santa Clara, Calif. – January 19, 2010 – The City of Arcata CA and the City of Albany CA Select CIPPlanner’s Capital Program Management (CPM) Software.

The City of Arcata CA and the City of Albany CA has selected CIPPlanner Corporation’s Capital Program Management (CPM) software solution for public and private organizations to manage their capital planning, project and program management needs.

The City of Albany CA has relied on Excel spreadsheets to plan, budget and manage their capital program and capital projects. To aid the city in providing more control over their capital program, Albany turned to CIPPlanner’s CPM software that will allow them to develop a centralized capital budget and plan and to manage their capital projects, while decreasing their dependence on spreadsheets.

The City of Arcata CA is facing reduced revenues and the need to better manage their capital program and projects. Realizing that the city can no longer rely on spreadsheets to manage their capital program and infrastructure planning needs, Arcata adopted CIPPlanner’s CPM software for an easy to use solution that could be deployed quickly and cost effectively. Arcata will use the CPM solution to develop their capital budget and manage their portfolio of projects.
