Santa Clara, Calif. – January 27, 2010 – The City of El Paso Texas Selects CIPAce™, CIPPlanner’s Enterprise Capital Program Management (CPM) Solution.
The City of El Paso TX has selected CIPAce™, CIPPlanner Corporation’s Enterprise Capital Program Management (CPM) software to manage their Capital Improvement Program and Capital planning needs.
Ranked the sixth largest city in the state of Texas, El Paso manages a $563 million five year Capital Program. The selection of CIPAce™ was the result of a year long search culminating in a thorough evaluation process. The city has determined that maximizing the value of its investment in the Capital Program is especially important under the current economic conditions. Critical to the selection of CIPAce™ was the application’s ability to synthesize and manage numerous data found in various manual processes and disparate information systems under one platform, making analysis and decision making more effective and efficient.
CIPAce™ will better enable prioritizing and funding decision of projects, creation of a centralized repository of project information, and streamlining the management process for multi-year projects across multiple fund sources and collaboration across multiple departments and users. As part of the software implementation process, CIPAce™ will integrate with the city’s Oracle PeopleSoft and ESRI ArcGIS systems.
