Training

CIPPlanner Corporation offers a comprehensive training program as part of the implementation and ongoing maintenance process that has been successfully utilized by all of our past installations. The program provides for both on-site training sessions as well as web-based training sessions. The following describes the training scenarios for a customer along the typical engagement process:

  1. Sandbox Environment: Setting up of sandbox software version at client’s site to provide client’s staffs and administrators to gain a preliminary understanding of the software. At the sandbox stage, ad-hoc training may be scheduled with CIPPlanner to provide to answer specific questions to the Software.
  2. Customized Training Manual: As part of the business requirement and configuration analysis process, a training manual will be developed to provide instructions of how different type of users, such as project managers, budget staff, accounting staff, administrative analyst or business line managers, can use the software to conduct their business activities.
  3. Train-the-Trainer: CIPPlanner encourages the adoption of a Train-the-trainer (TTT) approach for CIPPlanner to train a core team of administrative users, who in turn will train other users inside HRSD.
  4. Train-the-User: Client may also request onsite or online training on an ongoing basis to train new users or receive refresher courses.

Training Options

Typical training plan includes comprehensive on-site training at the end of the implementation process to address training for system admins, training for trainers, and training for users. Additional training sessions may be requested both as on-site training modules, or on-line training modules.

Our certified trainer will be on site to provide training to both trainers and users.  Training is separated into modules designed to address specific system functional area and different user groups.

Scheduled on a need-basis.  Online Training are easy-to-use sessions that may be scheduled as a full-on training course for new users, or as refresher courses for specific system areas

How to Schedule

Typically comprehensive training courses are included as part of the implementation process.  Subsequent on-site training after the implementation process may be scheduled with CIPPlanner Account Manager after the implementation phase for a fee.

Online Training can be scheduled anytime for a fee.

 

 

Flexible Training Schedule

To facilitate better training schedule to meet our client’s need, all training courses are developed as modules covering each and every single modules and functionalities in our software offerings. Base on solution acquired, and difference in client’s business processes, a customized training regimen is developed by the implementation manager to tailor to client’s need.

 

Below is a generic training schedule assuming on-site training at client’s facility with access to training room with desktops or laptops setup for hand-on training. The training schedule covers core system modules with sessions designed for different types of users.
