Santa Clara, Calif. - February 4, 2008 - County of Pima AZ, Selects CIPAce™, CIPPlanner's Enterprise Capital Program Management (CPM) Solution
The County of Pima AZ. has selected CIPAce™, CIPPlanner Corporation's Enterprise Capital Program Management (CPM) solution to replace its current legacy system. This selection was the culmination of a year long search and evaluation. As the second largest county in Arizona, Pima County is expected to grow by 25% from 2000-2010, according to Pima Association of Governments. Currently, Pima County has 314capital improvement projects with more than $343 million approved in the fiscal year 2007/08. Pima County also manages one of the largest bond programs in the country and is widely viewed as a "model" for such programs.
Critical to Pima's selection of CIPAce™ was the application's ability to synthesize the existing legacy and numerous disparate systems under one platform making analysis and decision making much more effective and efficient. CIPAce™ will better enable prioritizing and ranking of projects, creation of a centralized repository of project information, and streamlining the management process for multi-year projects across multiple fund sources and collaboration across multiple departments and users.
