Santa Clara, Calif. - May 21, 2007 - City and County of San Francisco CA..Selects CIPAce™, CIPPlanner's Enterprise CPM Solution
The City and County of San Francisco has chosen CIPAce™, CIPPlanner™ Corporation's Single Platform Enterprise Capital Program Management (CPM) solution. CIPAce™ was selected to provide a scaleable enterprise solution in response to the City's and County's need to manage its Capital Programs. Deployment of CIPAce™ is scheduled to be completed during the summer of 2007.
Two years ago the City and County of San Francisco instituted a Capital Program Planning cycle to cover a ten (10) year period. "We felt we needed a tool capable of giving us the management functionality, project visibility, and support required to meet our overall CPM needs on a city wide basis. This will allow us to better manage a $15 billion 10 year Capital Plan. Two major factors driving our selection of CIPAce™ were its single, web-based platform solution, and the system's ability to monitor the city's performance through the strategic planning, budgeting and project implementation phases." said Brian Strong, Director of Capital Planning, City and County of San Francisco.
Upon completing the deployment, CIPAce™ will enable the city to integrate its financial, project management, strategic planning, portfolio management, and GIS information and make that information available from a single platform.
